An interesting project has been started in Japan.

It is the “BURN” custom car battle.

This project I have never heard of.

The content of the project is to select the top 10 by Internet voting and battle it out.
“BURN” attracted so much attention that 2,600 people registered in one day when the website was launched.

Management was so surprised by the momentum of the event that they expanded their servers.

Vehicles participating in tournaments.

The web voting was exciting every day, but so were the battles. Battles are one-on-one, with the audience judging which of the vehicles facing each other is cooler.

Only the top 10 vehicles selected in the web poll will be eligible to participate in “BURN”.

The TOP 10 vehicles competed in the tournament across genres. This means that the car that wins the web vote and then wins the tournament in the battle at the venue is definitely the most popular #1.

Start of the tournament.

The cars participating in the tournament will be in the starting position.

They are all well-known figures in the Japanese custom scene, so their cars have excellent customization. But since this is the first time the event is being held, everyone looks nervous.

One-on-one battles.

The battle had finally begun.
There was an unprecedented sense of excitement as the two cars battled it out through the entrance gate.

Audience members were also excited to actually see and judge for the Top 10 they saw in the web poll.

The end of the battle.

The battle was over and the winner was determined. The winner was “ちー(有)車高短興業” from the Kanto-area. His Celsior is known as the lowest car in the world.

His team has tradition and amazing skill in machine building. His Celsior was not only low, but also had an appeal that made it look cool. For other results, please see this page.

Let’s focus on “BURN”.

This is a new culture, and I think it will get a lot of attention in the future.

Like Fendalist, you will need to know.

“BURN” website can be found here. Anyone can register an account and vote. However, please note that you will need to go to the venue in Japan to participate in the battles.

The next meeting will be held on November 3 in Nagano, Japan. Web voting will begin on September 3.

This is the venue for FIXWELL. If you live in Japan, please join us.
